Ever since 2000, our hospital has been one of the few in Poland that offered bariatric procedures to obese patients and one of the first centers that provides weight loss treatments.
From that time the hospital have been continuously gaining confidence of a few hundreds obesed patients. We have successfully provided over 500 bariatric surgery procedures. We are co-operating with highly qualified, world-class specialist with years of experience and good knowledge of the latest medical advances Associate Prof., MD, PhD Andrzej Budzyński and G.Kowalski MD, PhD.
Currently our main specialist is doctor Grzegorz Kowalski, who is one of the most skilful surgeons in advance laparoscopic surgery Poland.

The hospital is well-known in the education and scientific activities in the field of laparoscopic and bariatric surgery. We have organized national conferences and workshops, such as Laparoscopic Surgery of the Gastrointestinal Tract (2012) and Regional Days of Bariatric Surgery (2011).

POST BARIATRIC PLASTIC SURGERY
We also offer plastic surgery procedures after bariatric surgery to reduce excess skin left behind after weight loss. Its goal is to restore attractive proportions by removing the sagging skin around the abdomen, face, neck, upper arms, breasts, buttocks and thighs.
Plastic surgery operations are perform by Janusz Sirek, MD, PhD, who is one of the finest plastic surgeons in Poland and well-known also abroad. He is the founder and the owner of the of the Hospital for Minimally Invasive and Reconstructive Surgery in Bielsko-Biala and of the Plastic Surgery Clinic – Dr Sirek MedCosmetic, where the plastic surgery treatments are conduct.
